Of course, the title was cut a bit.
It should read "...speciAL"

Without uttering a word, I have traveled from being a "Grizzled Veteran", to a stylish green color, to my (current) resting place as "Koa". Woo hoo!
AND, all in a day's time! Is this a great place, or what?
Thanks for the ride, guys, and I feel somewhat complimented by my new status. Maybe even a little light-headed.

I think you guys are great.

Guess we'll have to keep re-registering to keep within the Mahogany class!

Heh! I don't want anyone to think that because I'm Koa I build ukeleles! I don't honest.

I am watching my weight and would like to be changed to "diet cocobola"

Cocobola - I can live with that! Like Evan, I could use the diet variety.

p.s. I bought two sets of cocobola from the Allied weekly list a couple of weeks ago, for the stash. It's fairly featureless figure-wise - in fact, I didn't know you could even get straightgrained coco that large or wide - but it taps like glass - as nice as anything I've had in my hands.

I happen to like being a walnut
but this new ranking seems to have a similarity to my wood collection . It too strives for Koa.

I guess I have to stop posting now. As I've got no desire to be BRW or have any association with BRW whatsoever. Geesh, people are being murdered over this wood yet we exploit it even more by stating that it's the "best".

EDIT: that was intended to be taken totally TIC. Lance and Brock, you guys are doing a wonderful job and I couldn't care less about my title. It just goes to prove that I need to be spending more time making dust and less typing on this stupid computer.

Har-dee-har! Evan, that got a laugh outta me.
But perhaps you should switch to diet Pepsibola.
Tastes more like the real thing.

Oh, and John H., that thought occurred to me as well.
I was thinking that within the Koa ranking, there could be subdivisions, like A, AA, etc.--all the way up to "Crazy Wild Ritzy Zoot". Or some such thing.
But Brock's patience seemed to be wearing a bit thin over all this foolishness, so I'd never say this publicly.

Hi Steve, Just wonder how Brother John is doing, we haven't heard much from him. I'm sure that since he retired from teching he is probably just bored to tears .

Don't take it too personally, John. I haven't heard much from him either.
Come to think about it, maybe we should start taking it personally? Anyway, thanks for asking. He's moved in to his new home in NC, and probably still in the thick of shop-setup.

Hesh--don't forget to put that on dark rye.
Umm, must be lunch time.

Still laughing, Evan! Thanks.

Anybody ever hear of "Cheerwine"? A tasty drink found over in the hills of NC. Maybe other places, but that's where I had some.
